Ruth Robbins, Publisher and Owner

Ruth Robbins is the original founder and publisher of Realdawg.com. Getting her start as a Pac-10 Advisor, writing Northwest and Regional Profiles for PrepStar Magazine. During her tenure with Rivals.com, Robbins was also a beat writer for Fox Sports Internet. Robbins brings with her a wealth of insider information on Husky Sports and Recruiting, and her information has been used by various news sources, including the Seattle Times, Seattle P-I Tacoma News Tribune, KJR Radio, and Fox Sports Northwest Television. Robbins is also a guest on ESPN Radio in California during football season. Robbins present duties include overseeing the entire Realdawg.com site, its employees, including football recruiting analysis and editorial analysis of Husky Sports. 
 

Brian Cook (8thyear) - Recruiting Analyst

Cook is entering his 8th year as a "stringer" contributing to Realdawg.com. A former athlete who has a wide array of sources in the sports world, Cook has also done stringer work for other networks and has a tremendous amount of contacts in the world of college and pro sports. He will tell you that he is "not a journalist". Cook now resides in Ventura County, Ca. but spent many years in the Midwest and down south. He enjoys time with his wife Alejandra and his son Raymond when he's not on the phone.

Alex Warneke (first year) Campus reporter, Husky football
Alex is our Johnny-on-the-spot guy at covering the Huskies' football practices for this season. He's done a lot of work in and out of the Communications Department at UW in the past and has a terrific background in sports, having played football.

Chrissy McDermott (first year) Administrative Assistant, Realdawg.com
Chrissy is in her first year with Realdawg.com but has been raised on Husky Football and is an already-published internet writer. She is a "go-for" doing everything from database entry to interviewing PSAs to...you name it! She is the daughter of Realdawg.com owner, Ruth Robbins, is married to Jordan and has 4 feline children and one German Shepard.  

Wilson Tsoi (5th year) - Staff Photographer
Wilson Tsoi contributes photographically to a handful of Puget Sound area sport teams when he’s not occupied with travel photography, another specialized genre of his. With background in commercial and fine art, his award winning images had appeared in several publications (Islands Magazine, Hawaii Magazine, Extreme Lighting Photography, Paris C'est la vie, Digital Photography, etc.)

Che Chon (2nd year) -- Husky Football, Husky Football and Prep Sports
Che has been covering the Huskies for Realdawg.com for two years now, with a special emphasis on Husky football and prep sports. In the fall he will be out checking out the high school football scene and keeping tabs on the athletes the UW is recruiting. Che will spend the 2011 season in the press box covering Husky Football games. He and his wife and children reside in King County.
